# Strategy Room Overview

The Strategy Room is your strategic intelligence hub - a central place for local events, industry news, AI-generated strategies, and corporate competitor news.

## Accessing the Strategy Room

Click **Strategy Room** in the sidebar to open it.

## Strategy Room Tabs

The Strategy Room has four tabs:

| Tab                | What It Shows                                     |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Local Events**   | Upcoming events in your area                      |
| **Industry News**  | News articles relevant to your business category  |
| **Strategies**     | AI-generated strategies and growth plans          |
| **Corporate News** | News about corporate competitors in your industry |

## Local Events Tab

The Local Events tab shows events happening near your business that could be relevant for marketing or promotions.

### Event Cards

Each event card shows:

* Event date and time
* Event title and description
* Location information

### Filtering Events

Use the time filter chips to narrow down events:

* **All** - Show all events
* **This Week** - Events in the next 7 days
* **Next 2 Weeks** - Events in the next 14 days
* **This Month** - Events this calendar month

### Generate Strategy

For any event, click **Generate Strategy** to have AI create a marketing strategy around that event - including content ideas, promotional angles, and timing recommendations.

### Past Events

Expand the **Past Events** section at the bottom to see events that have already occurred and any strategies you generated for them.

### View Modes

Toggle between **Grid** and **List** views for events depending on your preference.

## Industry News Tab

Similar to the Industry Spotlight on your dashboard, but with more articles. News is sourced based on your NAICS code and shows:

* Article thumbnail image
* Source badge (publication name)
* Headline and summary
* Publication date

Click any article to read the full story in a new tab.

## Strategies Tab

The Strategies tab collects all AI-generated strategies in one place, whether created from events or other prompts.

### Features

* **Search** - Find strategies by keyword
* **View modes** - Toggle between table and card views
* **Tags** - Strategies are tagged for easy categorization

### Using Strategies

Each strategy provides:

* A description of the opportunity
* Recommended actions
* Relevant tags and context
* Date created

## Corporate News Tab

Stay informed about what major brands in your industry are doing. This tab shows news about corporate competitors, helping you understand broader market trends.

## Tips for Using the Strategy Room
