# Understanding the Dashboard

Your dashboard is your daily command center - a quick snapshot of everything happening with your business and industry. Here's what each section means and how to use it.

## Dashboard Layout

When you log in, you'll see a personalized greeting, a weather card for your area, four main stat cards, and your Industry Spotlight section.

## Personalized Greeting

At the top, you'll see a time-based greeting with your first name and an encouraging message:

* **Morning (5am-12pm):** "Good morning" - "Ready to make today count?"
* **Afternoon (12pm-5pm):** "Good afternoon" - "Keep the momentum going!"
* **Evening (5pm-9pm):** "Good evening" - "Wrapping up the day strong."
* **Night (9pm-5am):** "Burning the midnight oil?" - "Great things happen after hours."

## Weather Card

Below the greeting, you'll see current weather conditions for your business location. This is pulled automatically based on the city and state in your business profile - handy for planning weather-dependent marketing or events.
