# Industry Spotlight

The Industry Spotlight section of your dashboard keeps you informed about what's happening in your industry. Stay ahead of trends and use news as inspiration for your own content.

## How Articles Are Selected

Storescribe curates news articles based on:

1. **Your Business Category** - We use your NAICS code to find relevant industry news
2. **Recency** - Articles are from the past few days
3. **Relevance** - We filter for business-relevant content
4. **Source Quality** - Articles come from reputable news outlets

## What You'll See

Each article card displays:

* **Source Badge** - The publication name
* **Article Number** - Order indicator (1, 2, 3)
* **Image** - Visual preview when available
* **Headline** - The article title
* **Description** - Brief summary
* **Read Article Link** - Opens the full story

## Troubleshooting

### No articles showing

If you see "No industry news available yet":

1. **Check your business category** - Make sure you've set a NAICS code in your business profile
2. **Give it time** - We update news regularly; check back soon
3. **Category too niche?** - Some very specific categories may have limited news coverage

### Articles not relevant

If articles don't seem relevant to your business:

1. Review your business category in settings
2. Choose a more specific (or broader) category
