# Daily Brief Overview

The Daily Brief is a curated intelligence email delivered to your inbox on the schedule you choose. It's designed to give you everything you need to know about your business in one quick read.

## What's in the Daily Brief?

The Daily Brief can include up to three sections (you choose which ones):

### Content Review

AI-generated content ready for your review:

* Preview of new content created for your business
* Quick approve or save directly from the email
* Links to open full content in the app

### Google Reviews

Updates about your Google reviews:

* New reviews posted for your business
* Star ratings and reviewer text
* Quick access to respond

### Industry News

Curated news articles relevant to your business:

* Articles selected based on your NAICS code
* Headlines and summaries
* Links to read full articles

## Setting Up the Daily Brief

1. Go to **Settings** > **Email**
2. Turn on the **Daily Brief** master toggle
3. Choose your **delivery time** (e.g., 7:00 AM)
4. Select which **days** to receive it (e.g., Mon-Fri)
5. Toggle which **sections** to include

**Recommended setup:** Enable all three sections, deliver at 7:00 AM on weekdays. This gives you everything you need before your workday starts.

## The 30-Second Email Workflow

The Daily Brief is designed for a quick scan:

1. Open the email
2. Scan the content section - save or approve pieces you like
3. Check for new Google reviews - respond if needed
4. Glance at industry news - click any headlines that interest you
5. Done!

## Testing the Daily Brief

Before relying on it for your daily routine, send a test:

1. Go to **Settings** > **Email**
2. Click **Send Test Email**
3. Check your inbox for the test email
4. Verify it looks right and arrives properly

**Test emails have a 5-minute cooldown** to prevent accidental spam. Wait 5 minutes between test sends.

## Customizing Your Brief

### Choosing Sections

Not every section will be relevant every day:

| Section        | Best For                            |
| -------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Content Review | Daily content review workflow       |
| Google Reviews | Businesses that get regular reviews |
| Industry News  | Staying informed about your market  |

### Choosing Days

* **Every day** - For business owners who want to stay fully plugged in
* **Weekdays only** - The most popular choice
* **Select days** - Customize to your work schedule

### Choosing Time

Pick a time that fits your morning routine. The email will arrive at the selected time in your configured timezone (set in **Settings** > **Profile**).

## Unsubscribing

If you want to stop the Daily Brief:

* **From Settings:** Go to **Settings** > **Email** and click **Unsubscribe**
* **From Email:** Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Daily Brief email

You can re-enable it anytime from Settings.

## Troubleshooting

### Not receiving emails?

1. Check your spam/junk folder
2. Add emails from @storescribe.ai to your contacts
3. Verify the Daily Brief is enabled in **Settings** > **Email**
4. Check that the current day is selected in your Send Days
5. Verify your email address in **Settings** > **Profile**
6. Send a test email to confirm delivery

### Emails arriving at wrong time?

1. Check the delivery time in **Settings** > **Email**
2. Verify your timezone in **Settings** > **Profile**
