# Content Calendar

The Content Calendar gives you a visual overview of your content schedule. See what's planned, what's in draft, and what's been published - all on one calendar view.

## Accessing the Calendar

1. Click **Content Studio** in the sidebar
2. Click **Calendar** in the sub-navigation bar

## Calendar Views

### Month View

The default view shows a full month calendar grid. Each day cell shows:

* Content slot indicators (colored dots or badges)
* Slot status at a glance

### Week View

Click **Week** to see a detailed weekly view with more space for each day's content slots.

### Navigation

* **Previous/Next arrows** - Move forward or backward by month/week
* **Today button** - Jump back to the current date
* The current month and year (or week range) is shown in the header

## Content Slot Statuses

Each slot on the calendar has a color-coded status:

| Color        | Status    | Meaning                                    |
| ------------ | --------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Light/dashed | Empty     | No content assigned to this slot           |
| Purple | Planned | Content is planned but not yet generated |
| Amber | Draft | AI has generated content, ready for review |
| Blue | Scheduled | Content is approved and scheduled |
| Green | Published | Content has been posted |

## Working with Slots

### Viewing a Slot

Click on any content slot to open the detail modal showing:

* Full content text
* Associated image
* AI rationale
* Status and platform info
* Action buttons (save, posted, like, dislike, feedback)

### Auto-Fill Calendar

Click the **Auto-Fill** button to automatically populate empty calendar slots with AI-generated content. This is useful when you want to plan ahead and fill gaps in your content schedule.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Auto-Fill generates content for empty future slots.** It won't overwrite existing content. The generation may take a moment to complete.
{% endhint %}

## Understanding the Legend

A legend at the bottom of the calendar explains the color codes:

* **Empty** - Available for content
* **Planned** - Content topic assigned
* **Draft** - AI-generated content ready for review
* **Scheduled** - Approved and ready to post
* **Published** - Already posted

## Calendar Best Practices

{% hint style="success" %}
**Review weekly.** Check the upcoming week every Monday to see what content is queued up.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**Use Auto-Fill for gaps.** If you see empty days ahead, use Auto-Fill to generate content in advance.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**Track what you've posted.** Mark content as "Posted" after publishing to keep your calendar accurate.
{% endhint %}
