# Email Preferences

Control your Daily Brief email and notification preferences in Storescribe.

## Accessing Email Settings

1. Click **Settings** in the sidebar
2. Select **Email**

## Daily Brief Email

The Daily Brief is a curated daily email delivered to your inbox with the latest intelligence about your business.

### Enable/Disable

A master toggle at the top lets you turn the Daily Brief on or off entirely.

### Delivery Time

Choose what time you'd like to receive your Daily Brief:

* Select from hourly time slots (12:00 AM through 11:00 PM)
* Default is set to early morning so it's ready when you start your day

### Send Days

Choose which days of the week to receive the Daily Brief:

* Toggle each day individually (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat)
* At least one day must be selected

**Tip:** Most business owners find weekday delivery (Mon-Fri) most useful, but you can customize to match your work schedule.

### Email Sections

Choose which sections to include in your Daily Brief:

| Section            | What It Contains                           |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Content Review** | AI-generated content ready for your review |
| **Google Reviews** | New Google reviews for your business       |
| **Industry News**  | Latest news articles for your industry     |

Toggle each section on or off based on what's most valuable to you.

## Testing Your Email

Click the **Send Test Email** button to send a test Daily Brief to your inbox. This helps you:

* Verify your email is correct
* Preview what the Daily Brief looks like
* Confirm delivery is working

**Rate limiting:** You can send one test email every 5 minutes to prevent accidental spam.

## Unsubscribing

If you want to stop receiving the Daily Brief entirely:

1. Click **Unsubscribe** at the bottom of the Email settings page
2. Confirm your choice in the dialog

You can also unsubscribe from a link in any Daily Brief email. You can re-enable the Daily Brief at any time from Settings > Email.

## Billing Notifications

Some notifications cannot be turned off:

* **Payment receipts** - Sent for every charge
* **Failed payment alerts** - If a payment fails
* **Account alerts** - Important account-related notices

These are sent regardless of your Daily Brief settings.

## Troubleshooting

### Not receiving the Daily Brief?

1. Check your spam/junk folder
2. Verify your email address in **Settings** > **Profile**
3. Make sure the Daily Brief is enabled in **Settings** > **Email**
4. Check that the current day is selected in your Send Days
5. Send a test email to verify delivery

### Daily Brief arriving at the wrong time?

1. Check your delivery time setting in **Settings** > **Email**
2. Verify your timezone in **Settings** > **Profile**
