# Business Information

Your business information helps Storescribe provide personalized insights and content. Keep it updated for the best experience.

## Accessing Business Settings

1. Click **Settings** in the sidebar
2. Select **Business**

Or click the blue Business Profile card on your dashboard.

## What You Can Update

### Business Identity

Your business name is displayed at the top of the settings page. This was set during onboarding and is shown as read-only.

### Contact Information

| Field                | Description                     |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------- |
| Phone Number         | Your business contact number    |
| Contact Person Name  | Primary contact for the account |
| Contact Person Email | Contact email address           |

### Location & Website

| Field          | Description                  |
| -------------- | ---------------------------- |
| Address Line 1 | Street address               |
| Address Line 2 | Suite, unit, etc. (optional) |
| City           | Your city                    |
| State          | Your state                   |
| Zip Code       | Your zip/postal code         |
| Website URL    | Your business website        |

## Why This Information Matters

Your business details affect many features:

* **Industry news** - Articles relevant to your category
* **Competitor suggestions** - Google Places search uses your location
* **Content generation** - AI creates on-brand, location-relevant content
* **SEO audits** - Website analysis in My Presence
* **Weather card** - Dashboard weather based on your city
* **Local events** - Strategy Room events near your address
* **Brand DNA** - AI brand analysis uses your website

## Updating Your Information

1. Go to **Settings** > **Business**
2. Edit the fields you want to change
3. Click **Save Changes**

The Save Changes button is disabled until you make a change, and is enabled once any field is modified.

## Changing Your Business Category

Your business category (NAICS code) was set during onboarding and determines your industry classification. To change it, [contact support](/docs/contact.md).

## Moving Your Business

If your business relocates:

1. Update your address fields in Settings > Business
2. Consider updating your competitors for your new area
3. Review industry news and local events relevance
4. Your weather card will update automatically

## Multiple Locations

If you have multiple business locations, your account is currently set up for one location. [Contact support](/docs/contact.md) to discuss multi-location options.
